Episode 736 – 18 June ’87

A man, Paul Marshall, visits Victoria and pretends to be a photographer. He offers to take photos of Chip and his parents, but proves to be an accomplice of Marsha Connors. Julia has the first signs of giving birth and goes to the hospital. Jeffrey organised a holiday for his housewarming and the return of Kelly from New York. Continuation at the insistence of Sophia, C.C. agrees to go there. But he is stopped when he accepts a call from a nurse at the hospital in search of Mason. She informs him that Mason is about to be a daddy again. At the hospital, he sees Mason joining Julia and accompanying her during her delivery. Victoria is so alone at Jeffrey’s party, just like Sophia. Alex decides to leave when in bursts Gina, decided to show herself publicly with “Nicky”. At the Orient Express, Keith drowns in alcohol with the absence of Gina. He gives a waitress the ring which he had bought for her. The party ended, Kelly confesses to Jeffrey that she did not go to New York, but to Scotland, to meet persons having known Jeffrey and his former spouse. She has even succeeded in getting Elizabeth’s diary. At the hospital, Julia acquaints herself with her daughter, Samantha, the only one…


Episode 737 – 19 June ’87

At the Orient Express, having had lunch with Ted, Laken comes to become established in the bar with Jake. She suggests that they help each other to speed up the separation – for her unavoidable – between Hayley and Ted. Having passed to see Julia in the hospital, Lionel comes back home and discovers inanimate Caroline on the floor. Her tiredness seems to have regained the upper hand. Mason accepts a new phone call arranging an appointment the following day. When Kelly asks him for news, Mason lies to her by saying that calls have ceased for several days. He comes to visit Julia in the hospital, then packs his suitcases, without explaining to Victoria the reasons of his sudden departure. Jeffrey authorises Kelly to read Elizabeth’s diary. She discovers a very mentally unstable woman there. She comes to the conclusion that she committed suicide with the steering wheel of her car. She asks Jeffrey to excuse her for having doubted him, what he accepts…


Episode 738 – 22 June ’87

Mason goes to the appointment arranged by the Indian in Saga broche coffee, in fact a mansion in abandonment. The Indian trusses him up in a chair and, with an accomplice, orders him to sign a document. But Mason understands that Eden is not alive and tries to escape. Kelly decided to put Jeffrey on the testament. She wants to find Mason, but learns from Victoria that he left for obscure reasons. With Jeffrey, she leaves to search his office and grave with the photo obviously rigged by Eden. Paul Marshal comes to see Victoria again for session photos with Chip. Eleanor makes Pearl and Cruz believe that she was attacked in a hotel room where she followed the trace of the kidnappers of Johnny. Cruz accommodates her at home, the time when she has a rest. He is waiting for Carmen, who continues her bad company. On his return, Eleanor watches for Cruz, naked under a simple bath towel. She pretends to faint to fall in his arms. Cain says to Eden that he does not want her to go back home one day and confess her love. Eden gets frightened, especially as Cain goes out of the cabin once again to drink. On his return, she waits for him with a gun, ready to pull the trigger…


Episode 739 – 23 June ’87

Alex explains to Sophia that he decided to let the Ministry of Health give a ruling on the effectiveness of vaccine that C.C. stole from him, without claiming responsibility. Kelly is persuaded that something has happened to Mason. She persuades Jeffrey to accompany her in the desert, in search of the bar in the photo that Eden is in front of. Jeffrey offers Pearl to buy to back his van for their expedition. By hearing their discussion, Eleanor understands that Kelly is on Mason’s track. Mason, by trying to avoid his abductors, accepts a dagger in full shoulder. He proves to then be unable to sign the document which the Indian is subjecting him to. Cruz says to Eleanor that he is not fooled of her so-called fainting. Eleanor is forced to admit that she is acting to encourage Cruz to go farther in relations with her. Cruz asks her to leave and sends her to finish her recovery at Pearl’s. Scared, Eden fires the rifle in the cabin. Cain takes back the weapon and iterates his feelings. But Eden answers that she will not be able to love another man as long that she or Cruz are alive. Cain packs the suitcases suddenly, prepares several guns and locks Eden up with a key in the cabin. Eden is persuaded that he is going to Santa Barbara, to get rid of Cruz…


Episode 740 – 24 June ’87

Jane has a feeling that Brick still bears a grudge against her to have let Johnny be kidnapped. Facing the camera, Brick makes an intervention on television to ask for assistance to find his son. Julia goes to Victoria and thinks that her state of depression and tiredness is advanced. She offers to look after Chip to allow her to go out. It is in the absence of Victoria that Mason calls home and tries to reassure Julia on his absence. But Julia does not succeed in knowing where he is. Paul Marshal then comes to see Tori to take photos of her and of the baby, but Victoria refuses. Mason exchanges with his jailer, who entrusts him with his plan to get rid of all Capwells. In uninhabited land, Kelly and Jeffrey find a rattle snake in their van. Jeffrey takes out a revolver and kills him. They then stop in a coffee shop and fill up with petrol. Barely rejoined, they see their engine smoking. It proves to be that the old boss of the bar rendered services to the Indian by voluntarily forgetting to put some water in the engine of the vehicle. Their van was immobilised, Kelly also discovers that they do not have drinking water anymore to be used…
